Q. How do Cap Ads™ work?
A. Very simply. Each Cap Ad has a centrally positioned bearing and a counter weight at the bottom of the disk. As soon as the wheel turns, the movement is "absorbed" by the bearing. This catches the eye with the impression that the wheel is not turning, despite the motion of the vehicle - inviting observers to have another look.
Q. Can I have my graphic on them?
A. Certainly! Your artwork will be printed on a vinyl decal (sticker) that simply sticks to your Cap Ad. The device is made blank to accommodate your graphic.
Q. What can I put on my Cap Ads™ decal?
A. Web site domains and company logos are our most popular requests in Cap Ads™. You might like to print your company logo and phone number, or, for simple brand recognition, just your brand graphic to work alongside your marketing strategy. We have printed radio station frequencies, sport clubs support decals, and general icons, as well as well-known company slogans. At Cap Ads™, we have catered for everyone from small businesses to alcoholic beverage and sporting event promotions.
Q. How long do Cap Ads™ last?
A. Cap Ads™ can last up to five years with proper care and attention. All decals for Cap Ads™ are printed onto outdoor vinyl that can have a life of up to 3 years, or you can choose to have your decals laminated as well to look even better and last longer. Depending on the punishment your Cap Ad device takes during its journeys, it is expected to travel over 100,000kms before requiring replacement.
Q. Can my Cap Ads™ be full colour?
A. Of course! Most of our Cap Ads™ are printed with a full colour digital process, meaning that your Cap Ad art can take on whatever form you choose.
Q. Can we supply the digital artwork?
A. We welcome your digital art. For the best possible look, we recommend that all digital art provided be saved in high resolution. Anything less than 300dpi is not advised. We take artwork in any professionally prepared format including Adobe PhotoShop, Coral Draw, Macromedia Freehand and others. Q. Can we use our own signage company?
A. Once again, we encourage it. You may already have an established relationship with a signage company who is familiar with your brand style. We will work with your preferred company to create the best Cap Ads™ possible.
Q. Will my Cap Ads™ fit any wheel?
A. Any 13-24” steeel, alloy or mag wheel and all golf cart wheels can be fitted with Cap Ads™. Currently trucks & buses etc cannot accommodate Cap Ads™ however development is on the way to make this possible. Cap Ads™ for these will soon be available. Cap Ads™ are immediately available in 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, & 24 inch and all golf cart wheels.
Q. What size are my images on the Cap Ads™?
A. The size of the decal will depend on the size of the wheel, which requires a specific size Cap Ad. The actual dimension of the display panel is slightly larger than the suggested size of the decals. The decal diameters for various wheel sizes are:
13 inch – 360mm
14 inch – 385mm
15 inch – 410mm
16 inch – 445mm
17 inch – 465mm
18 inch – 490mm
19 inch – 520mm
20 inch – 550mm
22 inch – 600mm
24 inch – 650mm

Effectively, 4 Cap Ads™ represent approximately 1 sq+ meter of outdoor signage.
Q. Do I need any special help in fitting Cap Ads™ to my car?
A. No. The most that Cap Ads™ require is a for yourself to follow instructions enclosed to ensure correct fitting. The unique counterbalance means there’s no hassle in aligning each Cap Ads™, and full instructions will be provided with your product. It’s that simple.
Q. Are Cap Ads™ easy to remove?
A. Removing Cap Ads™ may dislodge some brake-pad residue or grime, so it is best not to attempt removal in your working clothes just before you dart off to work. The only other requirement is the enclosed tools which are to remain in vehicle. Cap Ads™ do fit very firmly on your wheels to ensure absolute safety
Q. Will Cap Ads™ damage my car?
A. Certainly not. Cap Ads™ work just like a normal hubcap on your car, so they won’t leave a trace after removal. In fact, CapAds will actually aid in the cooling of your car's brakes.
Q. Do Cap Ads™ come with a warrantee?
A. Due to the deviation in the level of punishment Cap Ads™ might endure, Cap Ads™ are supplied with a 30-day warrantee against manufacturing defects only. In the unlikely event of an inner bearing in your Cap Ads™ that doesn’t work satisfactorily, contact us for repairs.

A. Yes, Cap Ads™ are fully insured and currently covered by four worldwide patents.
